Ladybird Killers are a three-piece heavy psychedelic rock band formed by Shaun Evans, Rachel Mclean and Jake Bain. The chemistry of the band blended well, producing a plethora of original material in a short space of time.

After only a year, recording for their debut album was almost complete and Sunshine & Daffodils was released in February 2014.

The second album, Ladybird Killers, was completed after several years of inactivity from the band and features Martyn Sroka on bass.

Exploring dark themes of mental instability and hypnosis, the concept of the album is reflected in the slow, powerful rhythms and the dynamic shifts from light, dream-like jazz to heavy doom metal.

Overall the songs conclude on a positive note and the album is itself a beacon of hope and creativity breaking through the darkest thoughts of humanity.
